This will prevent the surface from compacting, reduce the size of puddles during rain, and avoid undue wear of the surface by ensuring that there is sufficient sand on the baseline area.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eDo not brush the courts from side to side since this removes the sand from the court.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eSweeping needs to take place in all weathers, regardless of how wet the courts are or if it is raining.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eSweep before your booked hour is up. Leave yourselves 5 minutes at the end of the hour to sweep the court.
