Globe LTC Ladder Rules
All entrants are ranked by the match secretary + committee members when they join the ladder by giving them the appropriate points based on their existing form. The Globe ladder is universal, encompassing all members including juniors, men and women of all levels. You should only challenge a player within 5 ranking spots of you on the ladder. Either player can enter the result and the other can approve.
Your ranking improves by beating higher ranked players as well as the number of matches that you play. All matches will be one tie-break set, which means there is time for a knock-up and the set to be completed within the regular one hour booking time slots via the club chalkboard.
We will fine tune the rules regarding the number of times you can play the same player as we progress in the first 3 months
There will be a prize for the top man, woman and junior, awarded at the Christmas and summer party each year, plus a prize for the player who climbs the most ranking spots.
